Free Health Screening and Flu Shot Voucher For Uninsured Patients Age 18 and Older Only The AARP/Walgreens Wellness Tour is delivering free health screenings and health education to communities across the country with a special emphasis on diverse and underserved areas.
The nationwide tour features nine customized buses that travel 240,000 miles across 48 states, visiting more than 2,000 communities in 300 cities. One of the nine buses called the National Urban League Wellness Tour bus will be on the road this year as well.
Available screenings are worth over $140 per person, and no appointment is necessary. Screenings include:
Total Cholesterol Levels
Blood Pressure
Bone Density
Glucose Levels
Waist Circumference
Body Mass Index
Flu Shots
Walgreens is distributing up to $1 million worth of seasonal flu shots to uninsured individuals across the country! Candidates* who visit a Wellness Tour bus location between September 17 and November 15, 2009 will receive a FREE flu shot voucher. It's good at any Walgreens pharmacy or Take Care Clinic through November 30, 2009. And it's just one more way we're working to ensure that everyone has access to high-quality care.
